Baby Shower Time!!!

We had a baby shower on Sunday for little guy. It was a lot of fun.... wish every else could have made it, but had some cancellations due to sickness. Below are pictures from the shower and the decor. Wesley's paternal grandma, Aunt Aletha, and cousin Dawn got the house all decorated. They did a beautiful job!!!! Unfortunately we are now back in the hospital. Wesley had a few serious episodes on Sunday, he was obviously not feeling well. We had the first episode midday on Sunday before anyone came over for the shower. He started crying and screaming (keep in mind he is trached, so we technically should not be able to hear him cry) and turning blue. His oxygen saturation dropped significantly. Luckily his nurse was able to get him readjusted. He did that again around 6:30 Sunday night. He also had a lot extra secretions from his lungs and nose. I noticed that evening that his old broviac scar had become aggravated and infected. We decided it was time to get him some help. He was taken to the ER at Denton Presby, then transported to Children's Medical Center in Dallas. We are still at the hospital, but he is slowly feeling better. He had yet another episode on Monday afternoon, but we were in the right spot for it. He was quickly attended to by the nurses and respiratory therapists and the doctor was paged. They saw everything we saw at home. The respiratory therapist performed an emergency trach change to ensure that nothing was blocking his trach. It took a while before he calmed down, but he has been good since then. They are still looking to see what may have happened. He has been good since then, just don't have a come home date yet. Hopefully he will be back home in the next few days if he remains stable. But on that note, enjoy the pictures!!!
